On December 5, the Government Portal reported that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a Government conference to disseminate and deploy the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently".

At the conference, the Prime Minister requested that this restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus must thoroughly grasp the direction of the Central Steering Committee and the Government Steering Committee, and be implemented synchronously, uniformly, and effectively at ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and agencies under the Government.

The arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus must be associated with promoting the personal responsibility of each member of the Government, ministers, heads of sectors, and individual leaders of agencies.

Along with streamlining the payroll, restructuring and improving the quality of the staff, civil servants and public employees, with selecting the right and qualified staff, promoting the personal responsibility of each person with assigned tasks, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, putting the common interest first and foremost.

At the same time, we must do a good job of ideological work, create consensus and unity of will to act and work together. "The Party has directed, the Government has agreed, the National Assembly has agreed, and the people have supported, so we only discuss action, not retreat."

For units implementing the arrangement, merger, and consolidation, it is necessary to coordinate closely to develop a project that is scientific, rigorous, streamlined, and meets the goals and requirements set forth by the Government's Steering Committee.

Also at the conference, delegates thoroughly grasped the plan and orientation to arrange and streamline the Government's organizational apparatus.
