This morning (November 10), in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Central Organizing Committee, and the National Political Publishing House Truth coordinated to organize the National Scientific Conference "Building Regulations on political and ideological work".
The workshop was attended by Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet.
The workshop was attended and chaired by members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Lai Xuan Mon; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Ngo Dong Hai; Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam. Co-chairing the Workshop was Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth.
Speaking at the workshop, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet emphasized: Throughout the process of revolutionary leadership, our Party has always affirmed that politics is the soul, ideology is the foundation, organization is the means to realize the guidelines. Our Party is the ruling party, comprehensive leader of the state and society. The strength and prestige of the Party first of all comes from the political and ideological strength, that is, from the ideological steadfastness, bravery, vision, belief and unity in the collective awareness and action of the entire Party.
President Ho Chi Minh advised A strong Party is due to a good Party cell. A good Party cell is because all Party members are good. And good party members are people with a strong political stance, sound ideology, pure ethics, and strict discipline.
In the context of many rapid, complex and unpredictable changes in the world and the region, hostile forces promote peaceful developments, self-development, self-transformation, and multi- Nationalism in ideology in a sophisticated and profound way. Therefore, the work of building a strong Party in politics and ideology is not only an internal requirement but also a vital issue to firmly develop the Party's political ideological foundation" - Mr. Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.
According to the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Politburo's regulations will aim to comprehensively concretize the system of standard criteria and mechanisms to ensure the building of a truly strong Party in politics, ideology, clean ethics, solidarity in organization and close relationship with the people.
To complete the regulations with good quality and on time, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee suggested that the delegates focus on discussing and contributing on a number of key contents.
First, it is necessary to clarify specific criteria to evaluate a Party organization, a Party member who is strong in politics and ideology.
Second, establish a mechanism to ensure political and ideological unity throughout the Party. Especially the mechanism for inspection, supervision, criticism, self-examination, and self-reading.
Third, increase the practicality and feasibility of the regulations so that they are not only a slogan but also a specific action that can be measured and evaluated.
Fourth, promote the role of political science, ideological science, theory and new communication technology in building a strong Party from the root, from awareness to action.
Fifth, build a team of propaganda staff who are both rosy and specialized, steadfast and creative, capable of speaking to the people to understand and make them believe.
Sixth, applying science and technology in political and ideological work, digital transformation in propaganda and education, applying artificial intelligence and big data in analyzing public opinion from a distance, from the grassroots level, improving the effectiveness of fighting against theoretical ideology in cyberspace.
