On March 30, the General Department of Logistics and Technology (HCKT) organized a working session to deploy Party work and political work tasks for the second quarter of 2026 in a direct form combined with online at the bridge point of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, connecting with 28 bridge points throughout the General Department.
The central report and opinions expressed at the conference unanimously affirmed that in the first quarter of 2026, the General Department of HCKT comprehensively deployed the tasks of 2026, especially advising and organizing HCKT assurance for the entire army to perform combat readiness tasks; assigning, receiving troops and launching training in 2026.
Party work and political work activities in the General Department of HCKT have closely followed political tasks and the actual situation, deployed comprehensively, with focus and key points, comprehensively completed programs and plans both regularly and unexpectedly, and many tasks were completed well.
Notably, the dissemination and implementation of Resolutions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, Resolutions leading the implementation of tasks in 2026 and conclusions of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Department; political and ideological education, law compliance, and discipline were promoted; propaganda, emulation, and commendation work were effectively implemented. Security protection, mass mobilization, mass mobilization, and policies were comprehensively implemented.
At the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the General Department of HCKT requested that in the second quarter of 2026, Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to improve the quality of political and ideological education; build and maintain effective models of ideological management, disciplinary management and dissemination and legal education suitable to the characteristics and tasks of each unit.
At the same time, agencies and units need to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the guidelines of the General Department of Politics on Resolutions and the regime of issuing Resolutions; continue to innovate and improve the quality of Party committee and Party cell activities; strictly implement the inspection and supervision plan for 2026, ensuring the principles, substance, and effectiveness.
Regarding personnel work and internal political protection, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested agencies and units to review and closely summarize personnel records requesting the conferment and promotion of military ranks of officers and salary increases for cadres in 2026;
Thereby, strengthening the grasp and management of the internal situation; strictly implementing regulations on internal political protection, maintaining solidarity, unity and stability throughout the General Department, creating a foundation for successfully completing the tasks of the second quarter and the whole year of 2026.
At the conference, the Head of the General Department of HCKT awarded certificates of merit to 31 collectives and 39 individuals who excellently completed their tasks in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
