On June 30, 2026, at the Conference summarizing the work of building the "All people protect national security" movement in 2025 and deploying tasks for 2026 organized by the Economic Security Department (Ministry of Public Security), Agribank was honored to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security for its achievements in building the "All people protect national security" movement. Along with that, Agribank was recognized as meeting the "Safety of security and order"; the Head Office Office, the Internal Sector Investment Management Board and two Agribank leaders were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Economic Security Department.
Speaking at the Conference, leaders of the Economic Security Department emphasized the requirement to continue to promote the effectiveness of the "All people protect national security" movement, strengthen coordination between the Police force and agencies and businesses to proactively prevent, detect and promptly handle risks affecting economic security, security, and order in the new situation.
As one of the units presenting papers at the Conference, Agribank shared outstanding results in coordination with the Police force to ensure security and safety of banking operations. The papers focused on building and maintaining effective self-prevention and self-management models; strengthening information exchange, coordinating prevention, detection and handling of law violations in the banking sector; regularly propagating and raising awareness of officials and employees about protecting state secrets, information security and preventing and combating high-tech crimes.
In recent years, Agribank has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on national security protection; actively coordinated with the Police force in protecting internal security, economic security, ensuring security and safety of banking operations; building a safe, disciplined, and law-abiding working environment; contributing to protecting the State's assets, and the legitimate rights and interests of customers.
Through the movement "All people protect national security", the awareness and responsibility of Agribank officials and employees towards the task of protecting national security continue to be raised. Propaganda and dissemination of laws, education of legal compliance awareness, protection of state secrets, protection of customer data, prevention of corruption, negativity, wastefulness and prevention of law violations are regularly implemented throughout the system.
In parallel with that, Agribank constantly invests in and upgrades technology infrastructure, synchronously deploys solutions to ensure network security, data safety and improve risk management capacity. These solutions contribute to ensuring the operation of the banking system is safe and smooth, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of customers, and at the same time actively contributing to ensuring economic security.
In addition to investing in infrastructure and applying technology, Agribank always focuses on building a safe, disciplined, law-abiding working environment, linking security and safety assurance with management, administration and sustainable development of the bank. The entire system regularly reviews and improves management regulations and procedures; strengthens inspection and supervision, promptly detects and overcomes potential risks, especially in the context of increasingly complex high-tech crime.
At the same time, Agribank maintains a close coordination mechanism with the Police force in exchanging information and handling arising cases, contributing to ensuring security and safety of banking operations, protecting state assets, the legitimate rights and interests of customers as well as maintaining trust in the banking system.
Recognizing the achieved results, Agribank was recognized as meeting the "Safety in terms of security and order" standards and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security. The Head Office Office and the Internal Sector Investment Management Board were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Economic Security Department. At the same time, Mr. To Huy Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council and Mr. Pham Chi Thanh - Deputy General Director of Agribank were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Economic Security Department for their outstanding achievements in building the movement "All people protect national security".
The recognition by the Ministry of Public Security and the Economic Security Department shows Agribank's efforts in coordinating to ensure security and safety of banking operations. In the coming time, Agribank will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security and functional agencies, improve the efficiency of security and safety assurance; strengthen the application of science and technology and digital transformation in risk management, contributing to maintaining economic security, ensuring safe, stable and sustainable banking operations.
