The flood caused serious flooding in the provinces of Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Tri, many areas surpassed the historic flood peak in 1964, causing heavy damage to people and property. Heavy rainfall is still continuing to be complicated and spreading to Gia Lai and Quang Tri provinces. Immediately after grasping the situation, the Agribank Board of Directors directed the entire system of the Central region to proactively respond, ensure the safety of people, property, machinery, documents and certificates, and at the same time prepare enough food, provisions, and necessities to serve in the context of prolonged floods.
Promoting the spirit of "Banking for the community", Agribank has allocated 7 billion VND from the Social Security Fund to provide emergency support to localities that are heavily affected, specifically: Agribank Hue Branch 2 billion VND; Agribank Quang Nam Branch 2 billion VND; Agribank Da Nang Branch 1 billion VND; Agribank Nam Da Nang Branch 1 billion VND; Agribank Quang Ngai Branch 1 billion VND.
The branches will coordinate with the Central Region Representative Office to organize working groups to directly visit communes and wards that are deeply flooded and heavily affected, focusing on supporting mainly in the fields of health, education, food and relief, appropriate flood prevention equipment, helping localities and people in flood-affected areas to quickly stabilize their lives.

In addition to relief activities, the Board of Directors and Agribank Trade Union also requested branches in the damaged area to urgently compile statistics on the impact of customers, production households and families of officers and workers so that the bank can have credit support policies, reduce interest rates, and extend debts appropriately, helping people and businesses quickly restore production after natural disasters.
The support source was deployed in the last days of October, clearly demonstrating Agribank's social responsibility and spirit of sharing towards the community, contributing to maintaining the trust of customers and the community in Agribank.
