Improving skills in handling fire and explosion incidents
Dak Nong Power Company has just coordinated with the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH), Provincial Police to successfully organize training on knowledge and drills on rescue plans for 184 officers and employees under the Company.
At the training session, officers and workers were informed about fire prevention and fighting and rescue laws and legal documents of the state related to fire prevention and fighting; fire prevention and fighting of power systems, transformer stations; introduction to the process of organizing fire treatment...
In addition, workers have been instructed on how to handle common fire and explosion situations, warn of fire and explosion risks in enterprises and residential areas, along with methods to develop fire fighting plans suitable to reality.
After the theory session, students were given practical operations using on-site fire protection tools and equipment; how to deploy fire fighting formations to collect water from the pump system and fire hydration water towers outside the facility's home.
These are skills to handle situations of each individual in the community, helping to prevent most of the fires and explosions caused by power outages, preventing unfortunate incidents of people and property.
Investing in additional fire prevention and fighting systems
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, a worker at Dak Nong High Voltage Grid Enterprise, said: "We have knowledge and skills to apply in work as well as in daily life for timely handling".
The company has also established a Fire Prevention and Rescue Command Board and on-site fire prevention and fighting teams with 184 people; fully equipped with a variety of fire prevention and fighting equipment to ensure quality at the units.
Mr. Pham Kim Tu - Deputy Director of Dak Nong Power Company said: In 2025, Dak Nong Power Company will organize a drill for officers and employees (CBCNV) of the direct production force to serve at the unit.
Training and coaching on fire prevention and fighting plans with the aim of raising awareness and skills when a fire or explosion occurs, protecting human life and property.
To improve and promote the effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting and rescue, in the coming time, Dak Nong Power Company will continue to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of awareness and responsibility of collectives and individuals of workers.
At the same time, review and invest in fire protection equipment at units to contribute to ensuring the goal of providing safe and stable electricity to serve the needs of economic, social development and people's lives in the province.
