Lam Dong - After nearly 2 hours of efforts, the forces completely extinguished the fire that broke out at the wood carving workshop, causing billions of dong in damage.

A fire that just occurred in Bao Loc city (Lam Dong) caused great damage.

Initial information, the fire broke out at around 11:50 a.m. on May 17 at the Minh Kien wood carving workshop.

This wood workshop is owned by Mr. Tran Van Kien (residential group 1, Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city).

At that time, Mr. Kien's family was having lunch when they heard a burning smell from the wood carving workshop.

Mr. Kien went to check and discovered that the fire originated from a negative foam of the mechanical system area.

Mr. Kien shouted that his neighbors used many mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but were unsuccessful.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 3 of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks.

After about 1 hour, the fire engulfed the entire wood workshop of about 400 square meters.

The fire created a column of smoke tens of meters high. The forces divided into many directions to spray water to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring households.

At around 1:30 p.m., with the efforts of the forces and the weather supporting (the heavy rain lasted about 20 minutes), the fire was completely extinguished.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. Although the fire was controlled, the entire skeleton house was burned down.

Two wooden utility machines worth more than 800 million VND, with about 10 cubic meters of wood, many types of items, tools, equipment, machinery... inside the workshop were completely burned down. The initial estimated damage caused by the fire is more than 2 billion VND.
