A fire that just occurred in Bao Loc city (Lam Dong) caused great damage.
Initial information, the fire broke out at around 11:50 a.m. on May 17 at the Minh Kien wood carving workshop.
This wood workshop is owned by Mr. Tran Van Kien (residential group 1, Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city).
At that time, Mr. Kien's family was having lunch when they heard a burning smell from the wood carving workshop.
Mr. Kien went to check and discovered that the fire originated from a negative foam of the mechanical system area.
Mr. Kien shouted that his neighbors used many mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but were unsuccessful.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 3 of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks.

Dozens of officers and soldiers of the rescue team coordinated with the police, militia of Loc Phat ward and local people to put out the fire.
Some wooden sculptures in the wood workshop were promptly moved outside.
However, in the wood carving workshop, the main burning items such as wood, saw guns... caused the fire to flare up fiercely.
After about 1 hour, the fire engulfed the entire wood workshop of about 400 square meters.
The fire created a column of smoke tens of meters high. The forces divided into many directions to spray water to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring households.
At around 1:30 p.m., with the efforts of the forces and the weather supporting (the heavy rain lasted about 20 minutes), the fire was completely extinguished.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. Although the fire was controlled, the entire skeleton house was burned down.
Two wooden utility machines worth more than 800 million VND, with about 10 cubic meters of wood, many types of items, tools, equipment, machinery... inside the workshop were completely burned down. The initial estimated damage caused by the fire is more than 2 billion VND.
The authorities of Lam Dong province and Loc Phat ward (Bao Loc city) have counted the damage; at the same time, they are examining the scene and clarifying the cause of the fire.
