At a silver shop on Cau Giay Street (Hanoi), Mr. Ta Van Tuan (Nghia Do Ward, Hanoi) said that he wanted to buy gold or silver as savings.

"At first, I planned to buy gold, but the store only limited the sale to 1-2 taels per person. Meanwhile, silver was bought in larger quantities, so I switched to buying 2 kg of silver. The store staff said that the goods must not be received until February 9, 2026" - Mr. Tuan said.

Also at this store, Mr. Bui Tuan Ngoc (Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi) said that he only intended to stop by to buy some silver as wedding gifts but did not expect to have to queue.

"I didn't think buying silver now would require waiting, but I would have to wait a whole month to receive the goods" - Mr. Ngoc said.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Trang (Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi) is wondering whether to sell all the silver she has when the current price is at a high level or not.

"This morning I went to a silver shop on Cau Giay Street to see if there were many sellers to make a profit, but I still saw quite a lot of people lining up to buy. I have 23 kg of silver, including two bills of 10 kg and 13 kg. I bought these in September, the store scheduled to return the goods in December. If we sell now, we will have to sell by bill" - Ms. Trang said.

Ms. Trang added that although she needs money to solve her immediate work, she still wants to consider carefully before deciding to sell silver.
