Announcing the list of independent preschools licensed in Hanoi

On July 25, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced a list of 2,685 independent preschools that have been licensed to operate. This list is calculated as of June 2025, with information about the name, address, owner of the facility, professional qualifications and contact phone number of each facility.
Of the 30 districts, towns and cities in Hanoi, 9 localities have more than 100 independent preschools, with the largest number in Hoang Mai (361 facilities), Ha Dong (277 facilities), and Nam Tu Liem (270 facilities). Phu Xuyen has at least 4 facilities.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training hopes that the disclosure of the list will help parents refer to when choosing educational institutions for their children and mobilize the community to monitor these facilities. Ministry of Education and Training warns of scams related to study abroad scholarships
Recently, many universities such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Eastern International University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy... have simultaneously issued warnings about scams related to student exchange programs, international summer campes and study abroad scholarships. Subjects impersonating educational institutions, state agencies, creating fake websites or social media accounts to lure students to submit documents, reservation fees, and admission fees to appropriate information and property.
The Ministry of Education and Training has also issued an official dispatch warning the entire industry about sophisticated tricks such as impersonating reputable organizations, defrauding and paying hundreds of millions of VND to participate in the scholarship program. The Ministry requires the Departments of Education and Training, universities and colleges to increase propaganda and warnings to students through the school's official channels.

The Ministry of Education and Training affirms that it only enrolls students for official scholarship programs through the Ministry's information portal (https://moet.gov.vn) and the Department of International Cooperation (https://icd.edu.vn). Lecturers of Vietnam - Korea - Quang Ngai College owed billions of dong
Dozens of lecturers at Vietnam - Korea - Quang Ngai College have been owed overtime teaching fees, allowances and even official salaries for many years. The total amount of debt is confirmed to be nearly 2.8 billion VND, mainly falling in the school years from 2015 to 2021. Despite having sent complaints and dialogues many times, the lecturer has not yet received a written response or specific payment plan from the school's leaders.

Principal Vo Dinh Ta said that the school has 117 officials and employees and must be completely financially independent from 2023. Due to lower enrollment than planned and a cumbersome apparatus, the school fell into a state of lack of revenue, unable to fully pay salaries, allowances and overtime teaching fees. As of July 2025, the school has only paid 50% of the June salary, while it still owes in July and other expenses.
Although physical lecturers are owed nearly 1 billion VND in overtime teaching fees, guest lecturers from other places are paid the full 285 million VND. According to Principal Vo Dinh Ta, the reason was that these people repeatedly called to collect debts and threatened to file lawsuits, so the school was forced to prioritize paying in advance.
