The Da Nang Cultural Heritage Festival is one of the outstanding cultural events in the series of cultural activities - festivals on both sides of the Han River. This is an annual event organized by the Da Nang Museum every November to celebrate the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.
The 2024 Da Nang Cultural Heritage Festival program with the theme Village Stories - Street Stories aims to honor and spread stories and living heritages associated with urban planning and outstanding architectural works of Da Nang city. This is also an opportunity for everyone to visualize more clearly the transformation of streets and villages in Da Nang through each period.
"Coming to this Da Nang Heritage Festival, visitors will be immersed in a cultural space with attractive activities. There are a series of activities such as the Village Stories exhibition, the Street Stories exhibition, the Soul of the Street exhibition, the Da Thanh antique market, the Da Nang Architectural Heritage Discovery contest, the Village Festival game show in the middle of the street, folk games and other experiential activities," said Mr. Huynh Dinh Quoc Thien - Director of Da Nang Museum.
According to the Da Nang Museum, the final round of the competition to make models of typical architectural works in Da Nang City - Soul of the City will take place on the morning of November 23 with the participation of 8 teams from universities in the city. The competition will be a useful and attractive playground for students to demonstrate their talent, knowledge and passion for architectural heritage.
