To build this place into a "musical" of the Coal industry, TKV has sent documents to units to launch donations, collect documents, papers, and artifacts such as equipment, vehicles, machinery, cars, etc. with historical value to display at the Coal Industry Traditional Area; implement the Project to preserve and restore the Historical Relic of the Headquarters of the Bac Ky Coal Mining Company.
TKV also assigned Hon Gai Coal Company to design and build a mine road area simulating underground coal production technology - a production field with a long tradition and is important for the development of the Group.
In recent days, many units under TKV have transported artifacts such as equipment, vehicles, machines, cars, etc. of historical value to the premises of the historical relic site of the headquarters of the Bac Ky Coal Mining Company.

Hon Gai Coal Company has completed the simulated mine road ahead of schedule, practically celebrating the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers' Traditional Day - Coal Industry Traditional Day (November 12, 1930 - November 12, 2025).
When completed, the Coal Industry Traditional Area will be a "red address" for cadres, workers, laborers, youth union members of TKV units, as well as tourists from inside and outside the province to visit and learn about the tradition and production development process of the Coal industry in Quang Ninh.

The headquarters of Phap Bac Ky Coal mine Company was built in 1888, later the Production Operation Center in Quang Ninh of TKV, located at 95A, Le Thanh Tong Street, Hong Gai Ward, Quang Ninh Province.
Up to now, although nearly 140 years old, the project has basically kept the original architecture intact.
According to historical documents, on April 28, 1888, France's largest coal mining company was established, named Company Company Companyise des France Charbonnages du Tonkin (abbreviated as S.F.C.T, translated as French Coal mining Company of Bac Ky).
This company has a board of directors consisting of famous French capitalists, authorized to manage and exploit a large area of transferred land stretching from Mong Duong to Cam Pha, Hong Gai to Vang Danh, Mao Khe. Among these, there are 6 large mines, many small mines, 2 ports to ensure the entry and exit of 3,00010,000 tons of heavy-duty ships, a 1,000 kW power plant, 2 mechanical factories and many small mechanical stations.
As soon as they arrived at the mine area, the French quickly started to build infrastructure works, including the headquarters of the French Coal mining company Bac Ky at this location.

The two-story building that served as the company's headquarters at that time was a row of offices for the mine owners; the rest was the second room of the French secret service.
In 1995, after we took over the mining area, the headquarters of Phap Bac Ky Coal mine Company became the headquarters of Hon Gai Coal Trading Enterprise, then Hon Gai Coal Company (the predecessor of TKV), and later TKV's Production Management Center in Quang Ninh.
TKV's production operation center in Quang Ninh has now been moved to a high-rise building next door.
The relic of the headquarters of Phap Bac Ky Coal mining Company was ranked as a provincial relic by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province on June 7, 2021.
