On the evening of July 6, at Delight Park Light Flower Park, Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Thuy Duong Company Limited to organize an art program "Welcome Lam Dong province to rise up to a new era" and opened a live performance show of Au Lac History - The light of Suong Mai Lake music.
The theme music program: "Celebrating Lam Dong with the New Era" staged by director Le Minh Son brought a unique artistic space to people and tourists.
The event marked a strong transformation of Lam Dong after merging with Dak Nong and Binh Thuan, aiming to form a new province with a large scale and stature.
With an area of over 24,000km2 and a population of over 3.3 million people, Lam Dong province has just become one of the localities with the largest area in the country.
With modern transport infrastructure, connecting from highways, seaports to airports, it will create leverage to help the province develop high-tech agriculture, supporting industries, tourism and logistics.
The new Lam Dong province is proud of its rare natural and cultural diversity - from Ta Dung primeval forest, Da Lat plateau to Phan Thiet beach, Phu Quy island - and the intersection between Kinh, Cham cultures and the Central Highlands ethnic groups.
This is a solid foundation for developing resort tourism, ecology, spirituality and heritage discovery.
The highlight of the event was the opening ceremony of the art show "Bao thi Au Lac" - a majestic historical song festival that was refined and presented through 3 chapters and 10 segments.
The show vividly and dramatically recreates the thousand-year flow of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people with dialogue combined with the world's leading modern sound, lighting and water music technology.
In which, chapter I tells about: The Three Heirs of heaven open the world; the legend of Lac Long Quan collaborating with Au Co to create a hundred eggs; King Hung Vuong lighted up the civilization of the Van Lang state.
Chapter II tells the story of: King Ly Thai To moving the capital to Dai La citadel; Hung Dao Dai Vuong and Dai Viet army defeating the Chinese-Mong army in Bach Dang Giang; Buddha Hoang Tran Nhan Tong revealed the Buddha's teachings of Truc Lam Yen Tu; Huyen Tran Cong Chua with noble sacrifice for the country.
Chapter III tells the story of: Uncle Ho goes out to find a way to save the country, liberate the nation, declare independence; conquer the majestic Dien Bien Phu on five continents; liberate the South, unify the country, open an era of independence, peace and prosperity for the nation.
A representative of Thuy Duong Company said that Delight Park - associated with Than Tho Lake relic - after 6 months of renovation has become a modern, classy cultural - entertainment destination, still preserving national identity.
In the near future, the park will continue to open items such as the 360-degree hot air balloon, Go Kart race track, Japanese garden, Golden pagoda and European square.
