The Miss Vietnam contest has just ended with the highest position belonging to Ha Truc Linh. This is the oldest beauty pageant in Vietnam and one of the few prestigious domestic beauty pageants with a large scale.

Many years ago, when beauty contests were not yet flourishing, a girl being crowned received great attention from the public. But at the present time, many beauty queens have to make efforts to gain attraction through many plans, projects as well as the value they bring to the community.

Misses like My Linh - crowned Miss Sea and Islands of Vietnam, Hoai Linh - Miss Sea Vietnam...are mostly quiet after being crowned, and their recognition to the public is very low.Not to mention, in the first half of 2025, there will be a series of beauty pageants for businessmen, beauty queens...organized on a small scale.The beauties crowned in these contests are hardly noticed by the audience.
Responding to an interview with Lao Dong Newspaper, expert Phuc Nguyen said: Miss organizers must know how to harmonize the economic value and values of the beauty queen, culture and society. We must spread messages honoring beauty, honoring the value of the Miss crown, spreading humane and positive messages to the community... then the contest will be welcomed by the public, the Miss will maintain its appeal. As for companies that are purely commercial, the audience will not pay much attention. I think the public is very elite and intelligent, they can easily detect those limits".
