Many events before the holidays
On April 24, Ca Mau organized many important activities and events. In the morning, it is expected to announce the establishment of the Rice Museum and build a symbol honoring the rice farming profession. On the same day, the Investment Promotion Conference will take place with about 500 delegates attending, introducing the potential, advantages and list of investment-aspirating projects.
On the afternoon of April 24, the province is expected to start construction of Nguyen Dinh Chieu bridge, a project with a total investment of about 500 billion VND, contributing to completing transport infrastructure and connecting development areas.

Also from April 24 to May 1, at Hung Vuong Square, Bac Lieu ward, the Week of Science, Technology - Culture, Tourism and the 1st Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Contest in 2026 will take place. The event has a scale of about 200 booths with many spaces to display OCOP products, scientific and technological achievements, cuisine and regional specialties.

On April 25, the province continued to start the Standing Militia Flotilla project with a total investment of about 394 billion VND and inaugurated the Phase 2 Social Protection Center. On the same evening, the opening ceremony of the Week of Science, Technology - Culture, Tourism, combined with artistic fireworks displays will take place at Hung Vuong Square.
From April 25 to 30, the Folk Cake Festival is held in Tan Thanh and Bac Lieu wards, contributing to promoting local culinary culture.
Many meaningful activities on April 30th
On April 28, the province is expected to organize delegations to pay respects and offer incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area, Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, Hon Khoai Temple of 10 Heroic Martyrs of the Uprising and many red addresses in the area.
On April 29 and 30, Phong Thanh commune will organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Giong Bom Battle (1946), including incense offering ceremony, seminars, historical document exhibitions, visits to policy families and art programs serving the people.
The highlight of the holiday is the welcoming art program and low-altitude fireworks display on the evening of April 30th at Phan Ngoc Hien Square, An Xuyen ward. The program is expected to last about 60 minutes with music and dance performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and country and the province's development achievements. The fireworks display including 120 platforms will take place at around 9 pm on the same day.

After April 30th, the series of activities continues to extend to May with Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026. The province plans to give 1,000 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
In addition, on May 10, the "U Minh Forest Fragrance" event will take place at U Minh Ha National Park with a forest crossing race and ecotourism experience activities.
To serve the series of events, Ca Mau has strengthened urban embellishment, upgraded infrastructure, ensured security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, food safety, and is ready to welcome people and tourists during this year's holiday.
