Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police said that, implementing the direction of the Director of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security on promoting digital transformation in the work of testing, issuing and exchanging driving licenses, in the past time, the Road Mechanical Driving License Testing and Examination Team - Hanoi Traffic Police Department has actively implemented many solutions to support people to access and effectively use the VNeTraffic application.
According to statistics, in just 6 days (from November 15 to November 20), the Traffic Police and Commune-level Police directly instructed 10,117 candidates to take the exam, complete the procedures to change the application's driving license.
At the testing centers, citizen reception points and unit headquarters, officers and soldiers are deployed on duty to support candidates to operate on the phone, register for an account via the VNeID application and get acquainted with the features of the application.
VNeTraffic is an official application developed by the Ministry of Public Security, helping citizens look up, track and carry out procedures related to driving licenses and vehicles quickly and accurately, minimizing documents and travel time.
In particular, people can receive an electronic driving license after only about 2 hours of completing the test, said Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Nam - Captain of the Test Team, granting a driving license (Hanoi Traffic Police Department).
The VNeTraffic application also integrates many important utilities, such as:
- look up traffic violations (cold fines), history of violations and receive official notices from the traffic police force;
- Electronic vehicle documents including: driving license, vehicle registration, civil insurance, inspection certificate;
- Monitor the status of vehicle registration documents, information on auctioned, insurance, and vehicle registration plates;
- Pay the fine online without having to go to the headquarters of the competent authority;
- Receive official traffic warnings and notices, contributing to limiting fraud via fake messages and links.
The Hanoi Traffic Police Department said that guiding candidates to take the VNeTraffic installation test will continue to be maintained in the coming time, in order to contribute to promoting digital transformation in the field of vehicle management and vehicle controllers.
At the same time, the unit has coordinated with press agencies to build and post instructions on videos; Attach large posters at the test center, driver's health examination facilities and reception points, making it easy for people to access information.
