The Suoi Doi road project to the construction site, Nam Cuong ward (Lao Cai city) is a level 4 traffic project approved in March 2023. The project implementation period is within 2 years.
The route is invested by Lao Cai City People's Committee, with a total length of over 2km; starting point intersects with D3 road (National Highway 4E, Tran Phu), ending point intersects with the road to the construction site. The construction unit is Quang Sang Construction Investment Company Limited.
The road has a plastic road surface structure; drainage system; reinforced embankment and traffic safety system designed according to road signboard standards.
The total investment is 13 billion VND, including compensation for site clearance costs for land, crops, assets on the land and travel support according to current regulations.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter on March 4, after 2 years since the approval date, the project has completed the roadbed and is in the process of asphalting. Most of the road surface of the entire route is paved with stone, making the movement of people and vehicles more convenient.
Observing the actual construction, many machines are being mobilized to be ready to asphalt the completed road sections.
Regularly traveling on the road to the site, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham (Lao Cai city) shared: "Although this road is not long, it is very difficult to travel without paving the road. In addition, it is muddy in the rainy season, and dusty in the sunny season because there are many large trucks running fast.
According to Ms. Tham, the road invested by Lao Cai city makes people's travel increasingly easier and more convenient. Therefore, many people hope that this traffic route will be completed soon so as not to have to suffer from dusty conditions every time they pass through here in the upcoming hot summer days.
According to information from Lao Cai City People's Committee, after completion and handover, the route will meet the travel and cargo transportation needs of the people. At the same time, it creates favorable conditions for social development, improving the lives of people in the area.
In addition, this route also synchronously connects Khai Truong area with Lao Cai city center. Gradually complete the regional infrastructure system.
Thereby creating a premise for the development of infrastructure for the mining industrial park, shortening the time for transporting goods to the center of Lao Cai.
