At around 4:30 a.m., a truck with license plate 36C-175.xx traveling north-south on the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway when it reached Thach Ngoc (Thach Ha District) collided with a truck with license plate 63E-024.xx traveling in the same direction ahead.
The strong impact caused the 36C-175.xx truck to be severely damaged, the front part was completely deformed. Vehicle 63E-024.xx has a left rear movement. One person on the 36C-175.xx bus was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room, but later died.
Immediately after the accident, the authorities were present to handle the scene and investigate the cause.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 29, on the expressway section Ham Nghi - Vung Ang through Cam Quan commune (Cam Xuyen, Ha Tinh), a 7-seat car and a truck also collided.
As a result, the car overturned, damaged, and caused a traffic jam for about 1km, fortunately there were no casualties.
