Recorded on November 27, vehicles can travel some sections of Ho Chi Minh Road through Tru Van Tho Commune, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Tru Van Tho Commune, Bau Bang District, Binh Duong Province).
The 4-lane road is almost completed, vehicles can circulate. At the starting point of the project at the intersection with National Highway 13 ( Chon Thanh Ward, Dong Nai Province), it has also been built, vehicles can travel here.
At the end point, at the intersection with DT 744 road (Thanh An commune), motorbikes can travel, the contractor also places barriers to limit the movement of cars here. The bridge over the Saigon River connecting to Tay Ninh province and 5 other bridges on the route have also been completed, and can be used by 2-wheeled vehicles.
According to records, the Ho Chi Minh Road project through Ho Chi Minh City mainly passes through the agricultural plant growing area in Bau Bang district and Dau Tieng district of the former Binh Duong province. The Ho Chi Minh trail passes through vast rubber gardens.
According to the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (investor), the Ho Chi Minh Road project, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section, has a total length of about 72.75 km. The 31.5 km section through Binh Duong province was previously part of the construction package 01 of the Ho Chi Minh Road project, the Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section. The construction package has a construction value of more than 681 billion VND, with Deo Ca Group as the contractor. This section was restarted in November 2023.
According to records, construction package 01 of the Ho Chi Minh Road project has completed nearly the entire 31.5 km. Currently, only a few intersections are still stuck in site clearance, making it impossible for the contractor to construct.
A representative of Deo Ca Group said that the project still has some small points stuck with site clearance that need to wait for the relevant locality to mobilize people to hand over the site soon for completion. The entire construction package of a Ho Chi Minh road project has been almost completed, Deo Ca Group is carrying out procedures to hand over the project to the investor.
