Ba Ria - Vung Tau plans to spend 114.5 billion VND to support meritorious people

The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval of a support level of more than 114.5 billion VND for many subjects on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

On March 25, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that it had developed a support spending plan for many subjects in the province on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Con Dao.

In particular, the locality will organize support expenditures for revolutionary soldiers captured and imprisoned by the enemy; relatives of revolutionary soldiers imprisoned and killed in Con Dao... attending the gratitude meeting held in Con Dao, with a support level of 5 million VND/person.

At the same time, supporting people participating in the resistance war in Ba Ria - Vung Tau before April 30, 1975; members of the Literature Group of the Ba Ria - Long Khanh Propaganda Department at the same level.

Spending to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces living in the province is 20 million VND/person.

Civil servants, public employees, workers at administrative agencies at all levels... and armed forces in the province are supported at a level of 2 million VND/person.

The total estimated budget for implementing the support expenditure is more than 114.5 billion VND, from the provincial budget.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the above content has been approved in principle by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision at the 27th session of the 7th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, scheduled to be held on March 27.
