Providing false information about flood support in Hue

HUE - Hoa Chau ward authorities confirmed that the information that people have not received support after the flood is untrue.

On the evening of November 2, news from the People's Committee of Hoa Chau Ward said that in recent days, the ward has been severely affected by floods, many households have encountered difficulties. The government, the Front and the ward organizations have urgently mobilized resources to visit and support necessities, food, and drinking water for the affected people.

However, recently information has appeared on social networks saying that people have not received support from the locality, specifically the statement of Ms. Nguyen T. L. - Head of the Women's Association of the residential group in the area. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward affirmed that this is untrue information, causing misunderstanding, affecting the reputation of the government and relief work.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward recommends that people do not share or disseminate unverified information; coordinate with localities in receiving and supervising relief activities to ensure publicity, transparency, and the right subjects.

The Hoa Chau ward government appreciates all hearts turned to the flooded areas and called on people to unite and accompany in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, not allowing bad people to take advantage of and cause division between the government and the people.
