On August 28, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 5 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police found the body of the victim, boy G.M.D (5 years old, Thuan An Hamlet, Bau Ham Commune) and brought it ashore and handed it over to Binh Minh Commune Police for handling according to regulations.
Previously, at 4:25 p.m. on August 28, upon receiving a report of a suspected drowning victim at a fish pond in Tra Co hamlet, Binh Minh commune, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 5 dispatched a command vehicle, a rescue vehicle and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene to participate in the search for the victim.
When arriving at the scene, the rescue commander deployed professional measures and determined that the victim was likely to drown in the fish pond area of the local people, the lake is about 6m deep, the lake area is about 500 m2.
The unit has coordinated with the commune police force, local authorities and people to organize activities to search for victims.
At 5:45 p.m. the same day, the unit found the victim's body and brought it to shore.
