Meanwhile, many people contacted and called "phoned" to ask to adopt the baby.
According to Ms. Phan Thi Trang, Tien Dien Commune People's Committee is currently implementing a notice to publicly post information about the abandoned baby boy within 7 days according to regulations (from July 8th - 14th). After this time, if relatives still do not come to claim it, the locality will resolve procedures for adoption according to regulations.
According to information from Tien Dien commune, on the morning of July 5, a pregnant woman entering the Obstetrics Department of Tien Dien Medical Center gave birth to a baby boy weighing 2.7 kg, healthy and normal.
After giving birth, the mother and baby stabilized and were taken to the hospital bed for monitoring and recovery. The pregnant woman did not provide personal papers, through information, the pregnant woman self-declared her name as N.A.T (born in 2007, residing in Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province).
By noon of the same day, medical staff discovered that pregnant woman N.A.T was not present at the Obstetrics Department, only a newborn baby boy was in bed. Medical staff called according to medical records, but the phone number did not exist.
After receiving the report information from Tien Dien Health Center, Tien Dien Commune People's Committee made a record of the abandoned newborn and handed over the baby to Tien Dien Health Center for temporary care and nurturing.
