On March 19, Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai, head of the delegation, visited and worked at Regiment 893, grasped the training and life of new soldiers in Battalion 207; visited and grasped the activities of the regular Militia Squadron and the Military Command of Kien Giang province.
In the protective forest area, under the Kien Giang Forest Management Board, the Provincial Party Secretary listened to a report on the situation of forest land use and forest fire prevention in the dry season.
Hon Dat has an area of over 10,000 hectares of forest and forestry land, 7,000 hectares of protective forest, and 3,000 hectares of production forest. Kien Giang Forest Management Board has over 5,000 hectares, and has contracted over 1,400 hectares to MDF VRG wood company. The Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary proposed a number of solutions to use forest land and forest fire prevention plans more effectively.
At the visit and inspection at Battalion 207 and Regiment 893, the Provincial Party Secretary praised the results that the unit has achieved in the past time. The new soldiers are all assured of their work, united, determined their tasks well, strictly disciplined, and actively participated in the activities of the unit.
To improve the quality of management and training of new soldiers, Mr. Hai requested the unit to continue to thoroughly grasp the resolutions, directives and orders of the superiors on training work; improve the qualifications of all levels for the staff at all levels. Party committees and commanders at all levels focus on leadership, direction, strict inspection and strict maintenance of regular order and regimes; bring troops close to reality to train their bravery, mentality, qualifications and combat readiness.
Mr. Hai emphasized that in the process of managing and training new soldiers, the unit needs to pay special attention to ensuring safety; closely grasping and managing the number of soldiers; promoting the role of organizations and forces in grasping, managing and coordinating to effectively resolve ideological work. Focus on building a spirit of solidarity and unity in the entire unit, ensuring a good material and spiritual life for the army.
At the visit and inspection of the activities of the standing militia Squadron, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai highly appreciated and commended the spirit and responsibility of the Navy officers and soldiers in performing their tasks and completing assigned tasks excellently.
In the coming time, the Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Provincial Military Command continue to pay attention to building and consolidating the landscape of the Navy's camp environment. In addition, continue to implement the project of building new storms suitable to the living and operation conditions of the unit. Caring more about the lives, material needs, and spirit of officers and soldiers of the Navy. Closely coordinate with agencies and functional forces to ensure political security, social order and safety in the area where the troops are stationed as well as fight to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands, and protect fishermen.
