On January 15, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision to establish and appoint leaders of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Accordingly, the Lang Son Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is a public non-business unit directly under the Provincial People's Committee.
The unit operates under an autonomous mechanism, self-responsible for organizational structure, personnel and finance based on project management costs within the approved total investment and other legal revenue sources.
The Board has legal status, seal and private account; under the direct direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the professional guidance of functional agencies.
The organizational structure includes Directors, no more than three Deputy Directors and five professional and nghiep vu departments.
The Board's headquarters is located at Km 15+300, National Highway 1, Ky Lua ward, Lang Son province.
Also at the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision on Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Khe commune, being appointed to hold the position of Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of the Construction Works Maintenance Management Board (Department of Construction), was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Board.
The term of appointment is 5 years, from January 15, 2026.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Huu Hoc requested the Board to soon consolidate the organizational structure, arrange personnel for specialized departments, strengthen coordination with departments, branches and localities, and promptly advise on solutions to remove obstacles in the process of implementing key transportation projects.
Accepting the task, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan said that he will promote management experience, together with the collective of officials and employees to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to promoting the development of transport infrastructure in the province.
