Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that the Provincial People's Committee has just held a meeting to listen to a report on the preparation for investment in transport infrastructure projects in the area.
The Binh Duong Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has reported on the preparation for investment in many transport infrastructure projects in the province.
Accordingly, the units are studying and proposing 15 projects to prepare for investment such as: construction of Ring Road 3 Tan Van - Binh Chuan section (along with My Phuoc - Tan Van road, 15.3 km long); Saigon Riverside Road section through Thuan An city (from Ba Lua canal to An Son port) with a length of about 3.43 km...
Notably, Binh Duong province is also calculating the construction of a railway line from Bau Bang Station (Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district) to An Binh Station, Di An, Binh Duong.
The total length of this railway line is about 53.63 km, with 10 stations. The planning of the double-track route is 1,435 mm. The railway line passes through Di An city, Thuan An city, Thu Dau Mot city, Tan Uyen city, Ben Cat city and Bau Bang district. These are localities with industrial development, with many factories and industrial parks.

Currently, the transportation of goods by enterprises is mainly by truck and container truck. Meanwhile, Binh Duong's road infrastructure is increasingly overloaded, many key traffic routes such as National Highway 13, My Phuoc Tan Van, DT 743 are often congested.
Currently, departments and localities in Binh Duong are discussing options, scale and construction costs, and site clearance costs for the above projects.
