On November 15, at the headquarters of the Hue City People's Committee, the Ministry of Public Security presented 5 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in 2025.
The recent flood caused heavy damage in Hue when in just 10 consecutive days, there were 3 "floods". Promoting the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", the police force has promptly supported people to overcome difficulties.
The Ministry of Public Security has distributed 50 tons of goods and necessities; more than 15 working groups of units and police from provinces and cities visited and presented equipment, necessities and cash with a total value of more than 4 billion VND. On November 3, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security continued to support 5 billion VND from the People's Public Security Comradeship Fund.
Authorized by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police directly presented support, sent greetings and shares with the people affected. He said that he hopes the support will help the locality soon stabilize their lives, restore production and continue to perform well the task of ensuring security and order.
Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh expressed his appreciation and thanks for the timely attention of the Ministry of Public Security, officers and soldiers and units that have accompanied Hue in difficult times. He affirmed that this resource not only helps people overcome the consequences of floods soon but also motivates the locality to make more efforts in overcoming, stabilizing life and production.
