News from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on June 23 said that on the same morning, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a document approving Ca Mau to set off fireworks to celebrate the merger of Bac Lieu province with Ca Mau province.
The document of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism clearly states: Implementing Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government regulating the management and use of fireworks (amended and supplemented in Decree No. 56/2023/ND-CP dated July 24, 2023 of the Government); based on the consensus in Official Dispatch No. 3565/BQP-TM dated June 20, 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense and Official Dispatch No. 2692/BCA-C06 dated June 20, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed with the proposal of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on organizing 02 high-altitude fireworks display locations at the TV show to celebrate the anniversary of the merger of Ca Mau province. The number of 120 firecrackers at each launch point, the launch time is no more than 15 minutes at 9:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025 at Hung Vuong Square, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province and Ward 5 Park, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also noted: The organization of fireworks display must comply with the provisions of Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 and Decree No. 56/2023/ND-CP dated July 24, 2023 of the Government; ensure security, order, and absolute safety. The People's Committee of Ca Mau province is responsible for notifying the implementation results to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of National Defense.
