On September 22, An Giang Provincial Police organized an opening ceremony for a training course on cyber security and high-tech crime prevention for department-level and equivalent leaders in the Provincial Police.
During the 5 days (from September 22 to 26, 2025), students will receive 8 key topics related to network security assurance, identification, combat, and handling of methods and tricks of high-tech crimes; skills in applying technology in management, command, operation and improving the effectiveness of preventing and combating this type of crime in the current period.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Quoc Son, Deputy Head of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control of the Provincial Police, emphasized: In the context of strong digital transformation, high-tech crimes are increasingly sophisticated and complicated, causing many challenges for ensuring security and order. Therefore, equipping knowledge and improving the capacity of the leadership team is an urgent requirement, contributing to building a disciplined, elite, modern An Giang Police force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

At the same time, the training course is also an opportunity for leaders at the department level to update and supplement professional knowledge, and at the same time exchange practical experiences, thereby effectively applying them to the work of advising, directing and organizing the fight against high-tech crimes in the province.
