Dak Lak - Buon Don District determined that when awareness of law compliance is raised, the work of creating jobs for people will become more favorable.

Raising awareness of vocational training among workers

Implementing Sub-project 3 under Project 5 in the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Buon Don District has synchronously implemented many solutions to support vocational training, create jobs and improve the lives of workers.

Through support resources from the program, workers, especially ethnic minorities in remote areas, have participated in completely free vocational training courses.

In addition, accompanying support policies such as accommodation and travel costs are also fully implemented according to State regulations, helping learners feel secure in participating in training courses.

Thanks to that, students have the opportunity to access new knowledge and improve their vocational skills. From there, it is possible to apply for jobs at enterprises and production facilities, contributing to improving income, escaping poverty and ensuring learning conditions for children.

The People's Committee of Buon Don district assessed that the effectiveness of vocational training in the area is increasingly improved. People have known how to apply technology to production, reduce costs, and increase labor productivity. Thereby, the thinking of labor and production in ethnic minority communities has also gradually changed positively.

However, besides the achieved results, Buon Don district still recorded some limitations. Of which, the rate of students dropping out of school is still at 4.2%, mainly due to difficult family economic conditions or having to work far away.

The rate of employment after training is still low, about 8.3%. A part of ethnic minority youth is not fully aware of the importance of vocational training to develop themselves and stabilize their lives.

Building harmonious and stable labor relations

In order to maintain jobs for workers, the Buon Don district government proactively builds a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment.

The District People's Committee has disseminated to all cadres, civil servants, and public employees in agencies, units, and private enterprises about protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, especially ethnic minority and mountainous workers.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu - Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Buon Don district said that the district focuses on preventing and limiting labor disputes. Because this is not only a measure to stabilize social security but also a solution to keep hundreds of workers employed.

Because when a dispute arises, the business can suffer losses, even have to close, leading to loss of jobs and income for workers.

In addition, Buon Don district also actively propagates and mobilizes workers not to listen to false and toxic information that affects labor relations and social order and safety.

According to the People's Committee of Buon Don district, every year, conferences and oral communication sessions to set good examples and good deeds in villages and hamlets are organized regularly, attracting a large number of people to participate. Thereby, workers are able to raise awareness, appreciate the value of work and genuine income from their own labor.

In case of a conflict between workers and a business that cannot be reconciled, the district encourages the parties to use the means of lawsuit in court instead of gathering in large numbers, ensuring stability of the local situation.

Up to now, there have been no strikes in Buon Don district, showing that labor relations in the locality have been maintained stably and workers' rights have been guaranteed.

Thereby, people's awareness of law compliance is enhanced, so the work of job creation in Buon Don is even more favorable, achieving high targets.
