On October 18, Mr. Nguyen Kim Tung - Director of the Tan An Industrial Cluster Management Board (under Hong Linh Company - representative of the investor) said that by the morning of the same day, the situation of container trucks transporting agricultural products gathered in the Tan An Industrial Cluster had basically ended.
According to Mr. Tung, after the authorities intervened, most drivers had driven their vehicles away from the area, only a few vehicles were still parked, but the number had decreased significantly compared to previous days.
"Currently, the unit continues to monitor the situation, coordinate with authorities to prevent container trucks from parking in industrial clusters, causing traffic insecurity and affecting security and order," said Mr. Tung.
According to Mr. Tung, this area has a large concentration of workers and businesses operating in many different fields, so it is necessary to ensure a safe and orderly working environment.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, in recent days, due to incidents during the transportation of agricultural products for export, many container drivers from provinces and cities have brought their vehicles to Tan An Industrial Cluster to wait for handling.
On internal roads, dozens of container trucks lined up, starting their engines all day and night to store frozen agricultural products, causing great noise and affecting the lives of businesses in the area.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Hai, a container driver, said: I went from the Mekong Delta to Dak Lak to buy agricultural products for export, but encountered an unexpected problem and had to bring my vehicle to Tan An Industrial Cluster for temporary parking. I am waiting for the business to finish processing my documents to continue the journey. Every day, the engine continues to burn about 50 liters of oil".
