Voters in Tan Lap commune, Lam Dong province reflect many inadequate contents related to the North-South expressway.
According to voters, Mr. Huynh Cong Son's household in the area has houses cracked and damaged due to the impact of motor vehicles and construction activities during the construction of the North-South expressway, but so far the inspection and assessment of the extent of damage and remedial plans have not been thoroughly implemented.
Voters also reflected that the people's road from the beginning of the underpass under the expressway to the overpass in Tan Lap commune is currently the only way to serve the living, production and transportation needs of households, but it has seriously deteriorated, causing difficulties for travel and traffic unsafety.
Voters proposed that the Ministry of Construction direct the Project Management Board and related units to urgently coordinate with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province and the Tan Lap commune government to organize actual inspection of the current status of the above-mentioned people's road, and have solutions for repair and upgrade.
People also requested the Ministry of Construction to review and specifically assess the extent of damage to households affected by housing and property, and clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals to have support, compensation, and remedial measures in accordance with legal regulations.
After studying, the Ministry of Construction responded as follows:
- Regarding the payment of compensation money to Mr. Huynh Cong Son's household whose house was cracked due to the impact during the construction of the expressway project:
According to the project investor's report, the insurance unit is currently organizing appraisal and will complete the compensation payment work in March 2026.
- Regarding the restoration of people's roads serving project construction:
According to the project investor's report, all local residential roads used as service roads to serve project construction have been rebuilt by the investor and handed over to the locality.
The residential road from the beginning of the underpass under the expressway to the overpass in Tan Lap commune, as proposed by voters, is not within the scope of roads used as service roads for project construction, so it is not the responsibility of the project for repair and remediation.
However, the Ministry of Construction will direct the investor to coordinate with local authorities to study solutions.
The Ministry of Construction requests the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Lam Dong province to give opinions to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to direct localities and relevant units to closely coordinate with the investor to handle and comply with the provisions of law on investment to ensure serving the living and farming needs of the people.
