Hoa Binh - On October 20, social media spread information that a man paragliding was stuck on a power line in Hoa Binh city.

According to the shared content, the incident happened in Quang Tien commune, Hoa Binh province, a man while paragliding accidentally landed right on a power line.

Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the leader of the Department of Culture and Information of Hoa Binh city confirmed the above information and said that the incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. the same day (October 20) in Quyet Tien hamlet, Quang Tien commune.

"Immediately after receiving the information, the unit coordinated with local authorities and the electricity company to cut off the power and safely rescue the man and the paraglider; at the same time, we are considering handling the administrative violation because this person was not licensed to fly a paraglider," the leader added.

Quang Tien commune is known as a famous place for paragliding experiences. In 2022, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh city organized a paragliding experience program as part of a series of activities to stimulate tourism in Hoa Binh province.
