On the afternoon of December 31, a leader of the People's Committee of Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province confirmed that the task force had controlled the fire that broke out at a motorbike shop in the area.
"Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and calculating the damage," he added.
According to initial information, at around 1 p.m. the same day, Nam Binh motorbike shop in Thoi Binh town, Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province suddenly caught fire with a column of black smoke dozens of meters high.
Upon receiving the information, the task force quickly dispatched many specialized vehicles to the scene to focus on extinguishing the fire, assisting people in evacuating their property, and regulating traffic.
By the afternoon of December 31, the fire had been extinguished. Authorities are assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
