Authorities issue coercive decisions against households building steel frame houses on agricultural land

    Hanoi - Households arbitrarily building works on agricultural land were forced by the commune authorities to implement remedial measures.

    Kieu Phu Commune People's Committee has just issued a decision to enforce and force the implementation of remedial measures against Mr. Nguyen Duc Lam for the act of converting rice land to non-agricultural land (not residential land) within the administrative boundaries of the commune without permission from a competent State agency.

    Mr. Lam arbitrarily built works on agricultural land in the land plot in Dia Tre field, Van Quang village, Kieu Phu commune with 4 items:

    - Building a steel frame house with an area of 43.89m2.

    - Pour concrete foundation with an area of 110.5m2; place 1 container 6m long, 2.4m wide, 2.3m high.

    - Attach corrugated iron walls an average height of 2m to 3m around the land plot. The remaining area of the land plot is 415.81m2, paved with corrugated iron.

    - Two container houses, covered with tarpaulin.

    Kieu Phu Commune People's Committee requested Mr. Lam to restore the original state of the land before violating regulations. Mr. Lam must demolish all violating works on the land.
