The Chairman of the City People's Committee has just given instructions in Document 12524/VP-TC on a number of key contents, including instructions on repairing and renovating sidewalks and roads in the city to ensure progress, limiting the impact on people's lives, traffic safety and order and urban aesthetics.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction, the Hai Phong Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, and the Ngo Quyen Project Management Board to urgently urge contractors to speed up the progress of bidding packages for renovating and upgrading sidewalks and roads on traffic routes, to be completed before December 20, 2025. For packages that do not ensure the required progress, the city has directed the temporary suspension of construction and continued implementation after March 3, 2026.
The Department of Construction coordinates with the Tay Hai Phong Construction Investment Management Board to review the needs for renovating and repairing sidewalks and roads in urban clusters in the West of Hai Phong city (in the area of Hai Duong city, Chi Linh and the old Kinh Mon town) to synthesize, propose, and report to the City People's Committee for consideration.
