On August 2, the Office of Hue City People's Committee said that Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Le Tri Thanh and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh inspected the progress of many key projects in the area.
The working delegation inspected the reality at the VSIP Hue Project, projects at Chan May Port, To Huu extended road to Phu Bai Airport, and the project to expand Ba Trieu road and Ring Road 3.
Through inspection, the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of investors, construction units and localities in focusing resources and accelerating progress. However, some projects still face difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, affecting construction progress.
Mr. Le Tri Thanh emphasized that key projects are of great significance in completing transport infrastructure, industrial park infrastructure, and economic zones; creating motivation to attract investment, expand development space and improve the city's competitiveness.
Chairman of Hue City People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to continue to focus on removing difficulties, urging the progress of large-scale projects, and at the same time prioritize supporting industrial production projects, projects in economic zones and industrial parks; accelerate infrastructure investment to attract high-tech projects, clean industry and processing and manufacturing industry.
In addition, investors, construction units and local authorities must strengthen coordination in compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance; mobilize maximum manpower, machinery, and equipment to accelerate construction progress.
The Chairman of Hue City People's Committee also requested units to ensure the quality of works, labor safety, environmental sanitation; strive to complete items on schedule or ahead of schedule, soon put the project into operation, promote investment efficiency, and contribute to promoting socio-economic development of the city.
