Mr. Thong said that the main items are currently being accelerated, including Dai Ngai 1 main bridge. The Committee proposed that the province support site clearance for some additional items in the Dinh An canal reinforcement embankment area and the operator, while strengthening coordination to quickly handle arising issues during the implementation process.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee - requested the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct the Land Fund Development Center to closely coordinate with the Project Management Board and local authorities to speed up site clearance progress.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Luu Nghiep Anh commune is required to promptly complete the Compensation Council to implement additional items.
"Dai Ngai Bridge is a key project, connecting traffic between Vinh Long and Can Tho, receiving special attention from the Government and the Prime Minister. Therefore, it is recommended that Project Management Board 85 work closely with contractors, striving to speed up the construction progress to complete it correctly or exceed the set plan", emphasized the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee.
