According to Hanoi City Police, at around 6:43 p.m. on October 30, a fire broke out at an apartment on the 4th floor of the building at 15B Dong Quan apartment building, Nghia Do ward.
Immediately after receiving the report, the City Police Command Information Center urgently dispatched 4 fire trucks and more than 30 officers and soldiers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team No. 2, Area No. 11 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police Department to the scene to organize fire fighting, rescue and relief. At the same time, a command vehicle was also deployed to directly direct the fire fighting work.
As soon as they arrived at the scene, the fire broke out from the bedroom of apartment 408, 4th floor of the apartment building, the Fire Fighting Command quickly deployed a reconnaissance team, used specialized air intakes to approach the fire area, organized a search for victims, and supported residents to move to a safe area.
Fire extinguishers are deployed synchronously, using a fire extinguishing water intake system equipped in the building to control the fire, prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent apartments and organize smoke drainage.
In addition, the Traffic Police, Nghia Do Ward Police and security and order protection forces at the grassroots level were also mobilized to coordinate traffic flow, ensuring security and order in the scene area.

After about 30 minutes of effort, by 7:10 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force promptly controlled and prevented the fire from spreading, guided 1 person to escape safely and supported the move of an elderly person with poor health to a safe area.
