On November 26, the Trade Union of Son La College held the 5th Expanded Grassroots Trade Union Conference, term 20252030.
The Son La College Trade Union currently has 10 departmental unions with 284 union members and workers. In the 2023-2025 period, the school will merge Tay Bac Law College and Son La Province Culture, Arts and Tourism College.
During this process, the trade union received the attention of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Board of Directors, creating conditions for the completion of tasks well.
The union focuses on taking care of material and spiritual life, visiting sick people, holding parties, organizing cultural, sports, studying activities, and sightseeing activities with a total budget of more than 1.3 billion VND. At the same time, coordinate the implementation of democratic regulations, protect the legitimate rights of workers.
Propaganda, political and legal education, improving professional qualifications and building a cultural and spiritual life are effectively maintained.
The emulation movement 2023-2025 has achieved many outstanding results: grassroots trade unions have completed their tasks well for many consecutive years; 173 individuals have been recognized as Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level; many individuals have received Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor, Vietnam Education Trade Union...
The union actively participates in Party building, introducing 15 outstanding union members, of which 6 were admitted. The emulation, reward and women's work movement has been implemented methodically, creating a united and professional environment.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Thai Thi Mai acknowledged the achieved results, proposed to innovate the methods of operation; promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, focus on caring for, protecting the rights of union members and promoting digital transformation.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, and the delegation attended the higher-level congress. At the same time, calling on all union members to continue promoting the tradition, determined to develop strongly, and accompany the school in training high-quality human resources.
