On June 15, the Social Policy Bank (NHCSXH) Dak Lak Branch said that it has coordinated with the Department of Finance and related units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the Project "Investment in policy credit for the poor and other policy beneficiaries in Dak Lak province in the period 2026 - 2030".
According to the project, in the period 2026 - 2030, the local budget is expected to allocate 2,460 billion VND to expand preferential credit. Thereby, contributing to the effective implementation of sustainable poverty reduction programs, job creation and ensuring social security.
VBSP Dak Lak Branch sets a target to achieve a credit growth rate of 11% or more by June 30, 2026, meeting the capital needs for production, business, job creation and income improvement for people.
Mr. Dao Thai Hoa - Director of VBSP Dak Lak Branch - said that in the first 5 months of the year, the unit has promoted the Government's preferential credit policies to people, especially in remote and isolated areas and ethnic minority areas.
Propaganda activities are implemented through press agencies, socio-political organizations and local authorities, helping people access full information and use preferential capital effectively.
From now until the end of the year, the unit will continue to review beneficiaries, prioritizing poor households, near-poor households and ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances to access capital for production and business development, creating sustainable livelihoods.
The unit's point of view is not to let people who are eligible beneficiaries lack capital when they have needs and are eligible for loans.
Along with that, entrustment activities through socio-political organizations continue to be effectively implemented through commune transaction points and savings and loan groups, contributing to bringing preferential capital to the right beneficiaries, ensuring safety and efficiency.
According to Mr. Hoa, expanding policy credit, improving the quality of capital management and promoting propaganda are making an important contribution to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, job creation, promoting socio-economic development and ensuring social security in the province.
