Dak Lak established a Forward Command Department to respond to storm No. 13 and heavy rain caused by the storm, in order to proactively direct and operate.

On November 5, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee decided to establish a Forward Command Department to respond to storm No. 13 and heavy rain caused by the storm, in order to proactively direct and manage natural disaster prevention work throughout the province.

According to the decision, the Forward Commander Department is Commanded by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van is the Standing Deputy Commander; Vice Chairman of the Dao My Provincial People's Committee and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Minh Huan is the Deputy Commander.

This agency consists of 27 members, who are leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and Chairmen of the People's Committees of 12 coastal communes and wards of the province, including the wards: Binh Kien, Hoa Hiep, Phu Yen, Song Cau, Tuy Hoa, Xuan Dai and the communes: Hoa Xuan, O Loan, Tuy An Dong, Tuy An Nam, Xuan Canh, Xuan Loc.

The Command Department is responsible for organizing and directing the work of prevention, response, search and rescue in the context of storm No. 13 that is likely to cause widespread heavy rain, flooding and damage.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment as the standing agency, responsible for advising the Command Department in implementing all work related to responding to storm No. 13 and floods.

In addition, the Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office is assigned to ensure facilities and working conditions for the Forward Command Department at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, campus 2 (No. 07 Doc Lap, Tuy Hoa ward), ensuring that disaster response operations run smoothly and effectively.
