PHAN TUẤN |

Dak Nong - Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to speed up the progress of two key projects.

In recent days, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi has had a field trip to key investment projects in the province.

The Dao Nghia - Quang Khe road project, phase 2, was approved by the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee in 2021, with a total investment of phase 2 of VND 830 billion. The route length is about 25.77km, the implementation period is 2022 - 2025.

The project has 2/3 packages stuck in site clearance. A package with a site clearance area of 30.76 hectares belongs to 76 households and 4 organizations. The remaining package is stuck with 295 households, 4 organizations, with an area of 40.89ha.

By March 12, 2025, the project had disbursed VND249 billion/VND830 billion in capital. Currently, the remaining capital in 2024 of the project is 148 billion VND, and is proposing to extend the disbursement period to December 31, 2025. The capital plan for 2025 of VND 285 billion alone has not been disbursed.

The Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested Gia Nghia City to actively mobilize people to hand over the site. The investor will coordinate with relevant units to implement the project.

The Gia Nghia City Central Square project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in 2022. The total investment of the project is 400 billion VND from the central budget, starting from the end of 2022.

To date, the completed construction volume has reached about 62% of the contract value. In 2024, the project will disburse 259/400 billion VND. In 2025 alone, the project was allocated nearly 141 billion VND but has not been disbursed.

The project is facing difficulties due to lack of fill soil, in addition, the site clearance work has not been fully handed over to the investor.

For the Gia Nghia City Central Square project, Mr. Ho Van Muoi requested the investor to coordinate with Gia Nghia City to focus on site clearance and speed up the implementation progress.

The Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that wherever the site can be cleared, investors and contractors should start working immediately. In case of deliberate opposition, the final measure is to resolutely enforce.
