On January 21, the People's Committee of Dat Mui commune (Ca Mau province) said that it has officially launched a logo creation contest. The contest aims to select official logo models to serve propaganda and promotion of the image of Dat Mui in the fields of politics, economy, culture - society.
According to requirements, the symbol (logo) needs to show a special geographical location - the sacred southernmost point of the Fatherland; typical images such as Ca Mau Cape, GPS 0001 coordinate milestone, Hanoi flagpole at Ca Mau Cape, mangrove forest, Hon Khoai sea - island, crab, shrimp, fishermen, river culture... At the same time, the work needs to express the spirit of solidarity, diligence, resilience, hospitality, friendliness, towards green and sustainable development of the people of Dat Mui commune.

Participants are all Vietnamese citizens living, studying, and working at home and abroad, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion... with full civil act capacity; organizations and individuals who love design, fine arts, painting, have creative ideas and are passionate about the land and people of Dat Mui.
The time to launch the contest and receive entries is until the end of February 28, 2026. In case the number of entries does not meet the requirements, the Organizing Committee will consider extending the contest time.
Entries should be sent to the Organizing Committee of the "Sketch (logo) of Dat Mui commune" contest, address: Department of Culture - Society of Dat Mui commune (Kinh Dao hamlet, Dat Mui commune).
It is expected that the Organizing Committee will award prizes from April 25 to 30, 2026; and announce the official symbol (logo) of Dat Mui commune and award prizes and certificates to winning works, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).
The prize structure includes: 1 First Prize worth 40 million VND, accompanied by a certificate; 2 Consolation prizes, each worth 10 million VND, accompanied by a certificate. In addition, 7 works selected for the final round but not winning prizes will be supported with 5 million VND/work.
