Localities in the northern area of Ho Chi Minh City are implementing two important transport projects including: the project to upgrade and expand DT 744 road and the upgrade and expansion of DT 748 road (the section passing through Ben Cat city, Binh Duong province).
In particular, the project to upgrade and expand DT 744 road was approved for the compensation and site clearance price from 2023. The total investment capital of the project is over 835 billion VND. However, the project is being slow to construct due to land clearance problems. Currently, localities are still mobilizing people to agree to hand over the site.
Meanwhile, the project to upgrade and expand DT.748 road has a total investment of VND 3,143 billion, of which the construction cost is about VND 463 billion, the remaining VND 2,284 billion is the site clearance cost... The project started construction in August 2025, currently the site clearance work has only reached over 50%.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the city's leaders have directed Phu An and Tay Nam wards to increase staff to support site clearance for the two projects above. Consider site clearance as a political task to focus on. Basically complete site clearance in October 2025 so that contractors have a construction site.
