Previously, at noon on July 28, the Economic Police Department coordinated with the Department of Environment, Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai province, People's Committee of Dinh Quan commune, and Police of Dinh Quan commune to inspect the business household "N" in Hoa Dong hamlet, Dinh Quan commune, owned by Mr. N.H.N (50 years old), which is cooking oil from rubber and waste plastic.
At the time of inspection, the business owner arranged 6 oil reactors, and there were 8 workers working, cooking and recycling waste rubber and plastic (waste tires, waste rubber, waste rubber film, waste rubber gloves, waste golf balls, waste food packaging...) to recall products such as oil, waste aluminum, black carbon, iron fiber...
During the operation, dust and oil leaked from the cooking furnaces onto the surface of the premises, Mr. N. directed the surface washing and collecting water for the wastewater treatment system. However, in reality, the amount of wastewater generated is not thoroughly collected, flowing directly into the dry stream in the area with signs of exceeding technical standards, violating the law on environmental protection.
