Dong Thap has a new Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board

Dong Thap - Mr. Nguyen Nhat Truong - Head of the Management Board of Tien Giang Industrial Parks holds the position of Head of the Management Board of Dong Thap Economic Zone.

Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that on the morning of July 30, Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province presented the Prime Minister's decision on the establishment of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board and the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on appointing the leaders of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board.

According to Decision No. 1548/QD-TTg dated July 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister, the decision to establish the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board is based on the merger of the Tien Giang Industrial Park Management Board and the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board.

The Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board is an agency under the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of direct state management of industrial parks and economic zones (including border gate economic zones) in Dong Thap province; manage and organize the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones (including border gate economic zones) according to the provisions of law.

Regarding the leadership of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Nhat Truong - Head of the Tien Giang Industrial Park Management Board to hold the position of Head of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board.

Along with that, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Tien Giang Industrial Parks was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Management Board of Dong Thap Economic Zone.

Mr. Le Hieu Nghia - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Tien Giang Industrial Parks holds the position of Deputy Head of the Management Board of Dong Thap Economic Zone.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board (old) holds the position of Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh - Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board (old) to the position of Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Economic Zone Management Board.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang requested the leaders of the Economic Zone Management Board to strengthen the organization of the apparatus, streamline operations, in the spirit of solidarity to perform well the assigned tasks.
