The project to upgrade and expand the Ba Ta - Tra Tan road was approved by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province with a length of 15.1 Km, with a total investment of 102.1 billion VND. After starting construction in January 2024, the project has basically completed more than 95% of the volume.
On June 17, speaking with an engineer reporter Le Van Quyet, Deputy Commander of the project under Hoa Binh Company, said that he is currently focusing on human resources to construct Ba Ta bridge. The contractor has completed the asphalt pavement of the main route. Due to the recent heavy rain, the project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2025.

According to the original plan, this project was expected to be completed by the end of December 2025, but with the expected completion schedule at the end of August, this project will exceed the schedule, finishing many months earlier than the contract time.
The Ba Ta - Tra Tan route starts at DT720 and ends at Gia Huynh station, Tanh Linh district. The roadbed width is 7.5 m, the road surface is 6.5 m wide (including reinforced edges); the structure of the asphalt concrete road surface, embankment; upgrading and expanding 1 bridge, drainage system and traffic safety system.
This is a road in the mountainous district of Tanh Linh in Binh Thuan province, connecting to DT720 road. Over the years, it has been severely damaged, making it very difficult for people to travel and transport goods.
