On April 14, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Home Affairs organized the opening ceremony of the pilot version of the National Job Exchange (Job Exchange), with the participation of representatives of many central agencies, ministries, branches and localities.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the exchange's data system is built according to the criteria "right - sufficient - clean - living - unified - shared", allowing updates and monitoring of market fluctuations in real time. This is considered an important tool to overcome the labor supply-demand mismatch, which is the cause of inefficient market operation in the past time.
On the Employment Exchange system tested by the Ministry of Home Affairs, information and specific recruitment needs for each industry, field and job search trend analysis data have been publicly disclosed, helping workers easily access them.
Through big data analysis, functional agencies can forecast human resource trends, thereby planning training and employment policies more practically, contributing to optimizing the allocation of labor resources.
Notably, the Job Exchange also connects with existing online exchanges, connecting all localities, ensuring the unity of the Vietnamese labor market.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Khuong said that the Job Exchange is not only a technical tool but also an important institution to build a flexible, efficient and sustainable labor market in the new period.
In fact, the job transaction system in Vietnam is still scattered, operated by public job service centers and private platforms. However, the legal corridor is not complete, data is not synchronized, and the mechanism for connecting and sharing information is still limited, making operational efficiency not high.
The job exchange is expected to overcome these bottlenecks by integrating and connecting existing platforms, creating a unified ecosystem nationwide. For the first time, the Vietnamese labor market has a common "digital hub", helping to synchronize data and enhance transparency in recruitment.
Believing that the Job Exchange is of great significance to the seafood industry, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) Le Hang analyzed that the Job Exchange will be a very necessary tool to help the seafood industry be more proactive in attracting, coordinating and stabilizing the labor force.
VASEP Association has nearly 300 member businesses, accounting for about 85% of the country's total seafood export turnover. The Association operates as a bridge between businesses and the state, while promoting trade promotion, providing market information, training human resources and supporting members to improve competitiveness in the context of deep international integration.
Agreeing with this view, Mr. Ko Tae Yeon - Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Vietnam (Korcham) - assessed that the opening of the Job Exchange is not only the birth of a new technology platform but also an important starting point for the labor market and the employment service system of Vietnam.
From a business perspective, Mr. Ko Tae Yeon believes that human resources are not simply a recruitment story, but are directly related to the entire production operation, from quality, delivery progress to long-term investment plans.
