On April 7, the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board worked with relevant departments, branches and consulting units to agree to adjust the scale of the Ma Da bridge construction investment project (connecting Tan Loi and Tri An communes) and the investment project for the connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, from 4 lanes to 6 lanes.
Currently, functional agencies are urgently completing dossiers, striving to start the investment project for the road connecting from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 HCMC in June 2026.
Previously, in January 2026, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued a document assigning the investor to propose an investment project for the road connecting from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City in the form of public-private partnership.
In which, Component Project 1-1: investing in building an elevated bridge through Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve, about 13 km long, invested in the form of public-private partnership; Component Project 1-2: investing in building a road connecting from the elevated bridge of the Nature Reserve to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, about 31.5 km long, invested with public investment capital.
Compensation for site clearance and resettlement are separated into independent projects, invested with public investment capital.
This project is a vital traffic route connecting the Central Highlands provinces and the northern region of Dong Nai province with Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port.
