Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized: Focusing on environmental protection, preventing counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods not only contributes to building the image of a civilized craft village, sustainable development, but also demonstrates the responsibility of each individual and production facility towards the community and society.
This is not only a requirement for La Phu but also a common task for all craft villages in Hanoi.
The Director of Hanoi City Police believes that the development of craft villages needs to be placed in a harmonious relationship between economy - environment - culture - society, towards the goal of sustainable development, associated with key tasks such as: protecting the ecological environment, ensuring food safety; preventing the production and consumption of counterfeit and fake goods; preserving traditional values and cultural identity; developing craft village tourism associated with digital transformation and technological innovation.
He also predicted that in the coming time, economic crimes, environmental crimes, smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods... may increase, especially in the e-commerce environment. Therefore, departments, branches, sectors and local authorities where there are craft villages need to consider this as a key task, strengthen leadership, direction, and assign specific responsibilities; mobilize the entire political system, businesses and people to participate in preventing, fighting and handling violations.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung affirmed that the positive changes in La Phu craft village in recent times are clear evidence of the effective coordination between local Party committees, authorities and functional forces, along with the consensus of the people.
